Sheer Khurma

Meethi Eid refers to meethi seviyan, or sweet vermicelli, which is abundantly produced over Eid. Sheer, also known as sheer khurma, is a delectable milk pudding prepared with vermicelli, milk, dates, and various chunky nuts. In Persian, sheer khurma means “milk with dates.” On Eid, it is traditionally eaten first thing in the morning, following the day’s first namaz (prayer).

Baklava

Baklava is a Turkish delicacy that is crunchy and delectable. It is constructed with layers of filo dough laced with butter and layers of chopped pistachios and almonds.
